Romulan

The emblem of the Romulan Star Empire depicts a large bird of prey clutching the worlds of Romulus and Remus.  As offshoots of the Vulcan race, this avian motif may have cultural significance, since those who rejected the teachings of Surak were said to be "beneath the raptor's wing".  Romulans are frequently mistrustful and intolerant of outsiders, which translates to their longstanding belligerence towards all other races.  Devious and manipulative, Romulans routinely employ guile and deception in the orchestration and execution of their plans.
