Chlorophon

The Chlorophon Association are huge, sentient trees. The individuals of this race are so large that their ships are literally built around them. The larger ships are simply older Phon who have outgrown smaller ships where they are supported by a race of small lemur-like creatures who co-exist in a symbiotic relationship with the Phon. The Phon have been in space for longer than just about any other race in the sector, but are non-aggressive and consider themselves to be more elder statesmen and historians.
